What Did You Learn Today?
It's cool to learn something new. It's even more cool to share what you
learned with someone else. When you share what you know with someone
else, you become a teacher to other people.
I learned that the CSI answer is liquid. Some exampes of liquid are soda, water, and rain.
Lauren
(5th grade, Mr. Tarver's class)
I learned that the answer to the CSI question is a liquid. A liquid is state of matter that takes the shape of it's container. For example if you pour water into a container that is in the shape of a cylinder the water would take the shape of the cylinder( to prove that pour some water into a container and then freez it. After you freez it take out the frozen cube and see what shape it is in . It should be in the shape of the container you put in.) A solid is the opposite of liquid. A solid is a state of matter that dose not take the shape of it's container.

(2nd grade, Mrs. Lancaster's class)
We learned that answer to the CSI question is a solid. A solid is something that has a definite shape. A soild will only change it's shape if you apply major force. For exaple a glass cup is a solid if you drop it it will break but it would still be a solid. Another example is if you have a book and you drop a book it will not break because you did not apply major force and it is a solid. One last example is if you drop a board it will not take the shape of what it is in or on.
We learned that the C.S.I answer is solid.A solid has a definite shape. It is made up of some chemicals. For example our bodes and our bones are solids. The only time the solid changes it's shape is when you brake it.25% of the earth is land ( or solid) .Another example is the computer.
We learned that the CSI answer is solid. A solid is something with a definet shape. Here are some examples : a glass vase, a tree, a brick, a house,a car and, if you put wood in water it will not take the shape of the water.
I learned that the answer IS SOLID because it has its own dafanet shape.GAS is wrong because it dosn't have its own dafanet shape GAS is precipatation and GAS is in the air. and LIQUID takes the shape of its contaner and LIQUID takes up space.and thats why our answer is SOLID.
